Mel joined the Vespasian team in 2017 as a Door Supervisor and progressed within the company quickly, now leading the event logistics team alongside her office based role. In February of 2019, Mel joined the office team, bringing her skills from previous careers in customer service and administration into her position as Screening and Vetting Officer. Currently, Mel is completing a qualification in Human Resources and expects to achieve this within the coming year.   

As the first point of contact, Mel provides a warm welcome to staff and clients alike – something she prides herself on after working in customer facing roles for almost 20 years.

In her role, no two days are the same. From organising the allocation of equipment to sites to streamlining referencing procedures, Mel’s administration experience has proved vital to her role within the company.

Mel is also committed to supporting staff and their wellbeing in her role, providing welfare calls regularly and recently introducing an EAP through a wellness app, which includes 24-hour access to counselling to all employees.
